Focus on Screen Printing Adelco

Screen and hybrid digital printers Adelco’s latest cutting-edge technology in screen and digital printing solutions is setting new industry standards. The Cyclone and AD Hybrid systems combine to offer a unique combination of digital and screen printing capabilities at a price point not previously seen on other hybrid machines.

The AD Hybrid’s use of a screen print white base combined with photographic digital print quality provide the cost and opacity advantages of both print solutions with a print cost that works out to be a fraction of a fully digital print.

The hybrid print solution can be used with as little as one or two screens, depending on the screen print base ink type chosen, enabling huge savings in pre-press costs and set up times. This makes smaller job sizes of complex prints much more justifi able commercially and so much easier to produce. The new Adelco AD Hybrid printer is equipped with Ricoh Gen 5 print heads and is available in standard four colour (CMYK) or six colour (CMYKRG) which results in a more expansive and accurate colour gamut. The system is also available in three print size formats – 45x50cm, 50x70cm and 60x80cm

This new offering is a high-speed industrial printing system that is both

effi cient and eco-friendly, aligning with Adelco’s deep commitment to environmental sustainability, utilising inks and chemicals that are proven to be environmentally friendly.

The system can produce 200 consistent prints per hour and will seamlessly integrate into most screen print systems, thanks to its compact design. Key features of the AD Hybrid paired with the Cyclone include:

The New Adelco AD Hybrid Printer Systems

• CMYK or CMYK+RG colours. • Hybrid’s unique compact design. • High-resolution prints achieving 600x1800dpi. • User-friendly interface – easy to set up, removing the time, costs and cleaning involved with conventional screen print.

• Pinpoint registration of <+ 0.02mm, designed for the most challenging screen and digital printing.

Aeoon

DTG and screen printing in one machine

Screen printing is the go-to-method for many printing businesses when it comes to mass production or applying special inks. However, direct to garment printing allows personalisation, is perfect for automated workfl ow solutions and can print fi ne lines and beautiful gradients.

But what if you didn’t have to choose between those two printing methods? What if you could make use of the best of both worlds? With Aeoon’s Hybrid 3.0 printer, you can.

It combines screen printing and DTG in one machine. Aeoon’s special Kyo-To-Screen system allows you to print directly onto the screen, so there is no need for foils at all. You can print a beautifully solid white underbase with screen print paste and cover it with a detailed DTG print or you can print a DTG motif and apply special effects with screen printing effect inks (glitter, foil, devoree, etc.). The whole process is exceptionally easy to use and only requires a small dark room. While offering a lot of the advantages that usual screen-printing solutions offer, the Hybrid process is very clean and extremely versatile.

With this incredible machine, you have unique design opportunities and can print up to 300 pieces per hour on dark garments.
