Another permanent exhibition showroom opens in the south
Amaya Sales UK is moving its southern operation to new and much larger off ices and showroom facilities in Havant, Hampshire. This will complement the supplier’s Nottinghamshire operation and make it possible to demonstrate, train and exhibit on all the equipment on off er, in a relaxed environment.

hese showrooms, in the midlands and the south, will offer customers a permanent exhibition of one of the widest ranges of garment decoration equipment in the industry. Amaya intends to hold regular open events throughout the year.

A choice of DTG printers
If you are looking to venture into DTG printing or to upgrade your existing operation, Amaya has a choice of three leading brands of printers available from entry level up to high industrial production. Amaya offers the Polyprint Texjet range which is ideal if you are starting in DTG and looking to print up to 80 shirts a day. There is the entry-level Texjet Shortee2 and the larger Texjet Echo2. Both printers are very economical, require minimum maintenance and can be left with the power off for around 30 days, without white ink clogging. They produce superb photo realistic prints with a soft feel. Digital Factory RIP software is included, making set up very easy and both printers work with the latest technology in DTF production, allowing transfers to be produced which can be applied to non-cotton-based fabrics. Amaya also offers the Kornit Digital range of high production industrial DTG printers that have built in pre-treatment. The current models available are Storm HD6, Avalanche HD6, Atlas, Atlas Max, Vulcan Plus and the pioneer in DTG on polyester, the Avalanche Poly Pro. These printers vary in production output and all details can be found on the Amaya website. The cost per print is very low and with production runs of up to 500 pieces compete easily with screen print without the time-consuming, costly set-up. KornitX, web to print software, is also available giving seamless production fl ow from customer order to shipping.

The new kid on the block is the Roland XT640S DTG printer. This falls in the middle of the above two brands in terms of production and has the advantage of 12 platens which can be confi gured to print multiple designs at the same time. The high level of Roland reliability and support comes as standard.

Roland Print & Cut Plus UV printers
Amaya offers a complete selection of print and cut systems from the Roland TrueVIS range. The SG2 comes in 30in, 54in and 64in widths and the VG2 at 54in and 64in. All printers are ideal for producing heat transfers, stickers, banners, posters and much more. If you are looking to print on to hard substrates, then ask about Roland’s LEF2 range of desktop UV LED printers. These fl atbed printers offer advanced, versatile and productive customisation. They print on to hard or soft substrates which can be both fl at or curved. They have a choice of different ink confi gurations and can print on to objects up to 200mm thick.
