Xpres continues to add diversity to its range with a raft of new and improved products.

The Subli Print range is ideal for a variety of different uses, from the Subli Print Light for more high-speed sublimation printing to Subli Print Heavy that allows for an increased ink loading required for printing aluminium, ceramics and other hard products. The PU transfer fi lm features a new hotmelt adhesive allowing for application onto multiple textile types, including cotton, polyester, polycotton and nylon (uncoated). Additionally, this can be achieved at temperatures from 140°C and a time of just fi ve seconds, helping to avoid press marks from the heat press.

This is accompanied in the range by Evolution Print, a new low-temperature application, quick press printable garment fi lm. Thin and lightweight, this media is suitable for application to a multitude of textiles and is compatible with HP latex printers.

www.amann.com Isacord GS UK Have you ever considered using a stabiliser with your embroidery?

Ever needed to create an embroidery where the back needs to look as good as the front? Where both sides of an embroidery are visible and stabiliser residues are not an option? Maybe you are embroidering on to scarves, ties, or belts where the reverse of the garment is as important as the front. Do you embroider onto delicate fabrics, fi ne babywear or an item that is worn next to the skin and extremely soft embroidery results are required?

If any of the above apply to the embroidery work your business offer, then consider using Thermofi lm as a stabiliser. Thermofi lm is a heat removable fi lm that can be easily applied, simply cut the required amount to fi t your embroidery hoop. Frame up the garment/ fabric with the rougher side of the thermofi lm facing the back of the fabric, then complete your embroidery as normal. Most of the Thermofi lm can be torn away after embroidering and any remaining small residues can be completely removed using a household iron. It is ideal for jersey, shirt and blouse fabrics, silk and denim.
