Grafityp 18 new stunning colours
Grafi typ is always looking to expand its colour range throughout its product range. Siser recently delivered by introducing 18 new stunning colours to the highly popular Hi-5 heat transfer vinyl series which now boasts a total of 38 colours. Siser Hi-5 series is a soft, thin, PU fi lm on an adhesive polyester backing, specifi cally developed for applications on polyester-based technical fabrics, such as performance wear and cotton/ elastic fi bres plus the usual fabrics polyester, cotton and all poly/ cotton blends.

Benefi ts include: • A fi ve second application time and only requires a low temperature of 120°C, which reduces potential heat press marks and fi bre damage.
• The fi lms are perfect for multi-layer applications and are super easy to weed and cut. • Hi-5 series is REACH compliant, certifi ed Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class One and VeganOK.

Colormaker Industries is a committed environmentalist. PERMATONE inks have held Soil Association approval since 2012 and recently upgraded to the latest GOTS 6.0 approval in February 2021. The approval means that PERMATONE inks have been through a stringent certifi cation process to ensure that the products are made using organic methods and non-toxic raw materials.

PERMATONE inks are water-based and eco-friendly. They do not contain any solvents, phthalate or trimelitate plasticisers nor PVC resin and are much safer for the printer and the person that eventually wears the garment. PERMATONE inks are much, much better for the environment, the printer and the wearer. They do not give off VCM fumes while curing, nor leach plasticisers into the skin of the person wearing the garment nor into washing water, that results in endocrine disrupting activity in fi sh and other animal populations.
Screens can be cleaned up with water, rather than needing solvents and you can achieve a much softer handle and genuinely print wet-on-wet through 120 T mesh (305 tpi), rather than needing to fl ash after every second screen. This translates to faster production throughput and a lighter environmental burden.

MagnaColours Making a splash
The MagnaTrans range from MagnaColours is a next generation water-based heat transfer system designed to excel with both traditional screen printed transfers and with digital transfer printing.
