Christopher Kössler “
We are really looking forward to the DEAL Expo taking place again after a long break,” said the company’s Christopher Koesler.
“We are happy to present our latest projects which includes the Tower at The Traumland auf der Bärenhöhle theme park and our loading conveyor belt at the AinDubai.” The Traumland auf der Bärenhöhle theme park
gained a breath-taking attraction with the Sunkid Tower in 2021. The interactive Tower, themed as a crane, not only offers a trip into lofty heights with its ten metres but also serves as a beautiful vantage point. The Tower principle is quickly explained: A
slight pull on the Tower rope will move the double seat upwards with motor-powered support. Every rider controls their own height. Releasing the rope will cause the double seat to gently lower again. Repeated up and down movement is possible as well. During the ride, the Tower will spin around its own axis, rewarding the rider with a beautiful all- round view.
Sunkid supplies the world’s first concave loading conveyor belt “Ain Dubai”, the world’s largest and tallest Observation Wheel is now standing in Dubai. Its cabins are entered via a loading conveyor belt and access gates by Sunkid. Since the observation wheel never stops turning,
the loading conveyor belt – otherwise known as a Sunkid Magic Carpet - makes sure that the speed difference between the moving gondolas and the static platform is optimally compensated to ensure that the required safety and maximal capacity can be achieved. The Sunkid loading conveyor belt allows the
Observation Wheel to move by 30% faster, increasing its hourly capacity by 30%. The loading conveyor belt also serves as part of the evacuation route in emergencies. This project had to meet some other very special
requirements as well, including: • Special U-shape (concave) of the “rolling

• Special chain tensioning for elimination of vibrations
• Independent control of the loading conveyor belt communicates with the control of the observation wheel + access gates
Ain’t no mountain high enough Sunkid is also looking forward to presenting its latest Mountain Coaster projects, the latest of which is in Canada. Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver (CA) is
looking back at a highly successful first summer season with the Mountain Coaster called the “Eagle Coaster”. The adventure commences with a ride in the
“Eagle Express Quad” chairlift onto the peak of Black Mountain, from where the Eagle Coaster ride sets out. 70 blue toboggans carry their riders down the approx. 1700 m long monorail track.

The rail’s proximity to the ground makes the speed, which can be regulated directly by a hand brake, felt a lot more intensely. The route leads through the forest and along the Cypress Mountain skiing slopes with their many waves, jumps, and great vantage points, such as a panoramic curve with an amazing view of Vancouver. The ride covers 279 altitude metres. Since the Cypress Mountain serves as a skiing
area in winter, some route elements of the monorail track are removed for that season. The route is easy to assemble and can be set up again quickly by mountain railway employees when the summer season starts. “All in all, we are happy to see our partners
and customers from the middle east after a long break,” said Chrsitopher.
