Pantheon is the second fastest coaster in Virginia and the fastest multi-launch roller coaster in the world. Also in Virginia, Kings Dominion
welcomed Tumbili, a 4D Spin Coaster. Providing riders with the feeling of weightlessness, the S&S Sansei Technologies designed coaster is approximately 770 feet long (234 metres) and reaches speeds of 34 mph and has a maximum height of 112 feet (34 metres). Everything old is now new at
Kennywood when tradition bounced its way into a new chapter. The iconic Kangaroo ride returned, refurbished, and restored, after the park reversed its 2020 decision to retire the ride. To bring the Kangaroo back fully ready to delight guests for many years to come, Premier Rides partnered with Kennywood to completely rebuild, update, and bring back the beloved ‘flying coaster’.
New parks A family coaster debuted in Winter Haven, Florida as the centerpiece of an oinktastic new theme park. Beloved British character, Peppa Pig officially moved to the United States with the opening of Peppa Pig Theme Park. Located adjacent to Legoland Florida, the new park is a second gate at Legoland Florida Resort. Within moments of entering the park,
guests are treated to the signature sights and sounds of Peppa Pig’s world. The park’s signature attraction, Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster is the perfect first roller coaster for preschoolers. The Zamperla ride includes a mid-ride surprise as the
ride cars pick up a little speed through a short launch. With a 14-foot (4 metre) drop at a top speed of 16 miles per hour (25 kilometers per hour), the brightly colored coaster is the perfect way for young park goers to begin a lifelong passion for roller coasters. The park features six charming rides, six
themed playscapes, the Muddy Puddles Splash Pad, meet and greets with Peppa Pig and her brother George, and live shows in Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena. The park opened as a certified autism center, meeting criteria set by The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).
Peppa’s Balloon Ride was also created
for families with special needs in mind. The attraction includes two rider baskets with widened doorways that allow for roll-on wheelchair access. A second seat also ensures the child does not have to ride alone and can enjoy what might potentially be their first-ever theme park ride, with a parent, sibling, or best friend. To make the high-flying dream ride a reality, the park worked closely with ride manufacturer, Technical Park, to adapt the family attraction. The answer to the question, ‘How to get
