Vekoma has over 450 roller coasters and attractions installed
worldwide and many new projects rolling out over the next few years. The world’s longest and first launched flying coaster, F.L.Y. at Phantasialand in Germany, is a mile stone in the roller coaster industry. It marks a new generation of flying coaster with its technological advances pushing the boundary of riders' experiences. In 2022 Vekoma saw the opening of its first Wildcat looping
coaster ‘Fønix’ at Fårup Sommerland in Denmark. It’s the largest, fastest and highest family thrill coaster in Denmark with a height of 40m, track length of 905m and top speed of 95 kmph and is the world’s first roller coaster to introduce a so-called Stall Loop that combines the classic loop with an inversed camelback, providing an experience of zero gravity for 2.5 seconds and setting a record by exposing riders to the most airtime in all of Scandinavia.
Future projects In 2023 and 2024, Vekoma anticipates the openings of a Mine Train and Kalypso Family Coaster at Energylandia in Poland, a custom design Family Boomerang at Liseberg in Sweden, a Family Launch Coaster at Furuviksparken in Sweden and Dollywood in the USA, a Suspended Family Coaster Mistral at Aztlán Parque Urbano in Mexico and the opening of a Family Boomerang Racer and Suspended Family Coaster at Warner Bros. MovieWorld at the Gold Coast in Australia. In China, Fantawild
will open in 2023/2024 another Top Gun Launch Coaster, a Family Boomerang Rebound and the first Super Boomerang in the world. Another exciting project for Vekoma is Tilt Coaster 2.0, debuting at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas as the first Tilt Coaster in the States.
