Simtec Systems GmbH S
imtec is one of the leading entertainment attraction suppliers, especially for flying theatres, customised
simulator systems, motion-based simulator rides (closed and open cabin) as well as interactive dark rides. Simtec has enlarged its product portfolio and has designed the award winning interactive digital signage system, ScreenFLITE. Simtec provides turn-key solutions for top-
class simulation attractions, including media content, theming, special effects, AV technology and screens.
Products and Services HEXaFLITE 2.0 Flying Theatre and HEXaFLITE mini The system design of the HEXaFLITE 2.0 allows full 6-DOF movements right from the beginning of the ride in the loading position. This possibility combines a traditional motion-based simulator ride with a flying theatre for more fun and thrills right from the start. Starting the motion in loading position and continuing the motion while moving into show position vastly expands the opportunities for creating new experiences. Additionally, the seats can be tilted
backwards while the system platform remains in the loading position. An extended screen in the ceiling area lets the guests look into the sky or other worlds.
Further features:
• Compact seating in the center of the screen • Variety of special effects, e. g. scent, wind and spray
• Large movement in all six degrees of freedom for smooth soaring and dynamic movements
• Available from 20 to 72 seats • Turn-key attraction including screen, projection, audio-video system and media contact

PARK WORLD Handbook & Buyer’s Guide 2022/23 The new HEXaFLITE mini for four, eight or 10
passengers has been developed especially for reduced ceiling heights of around 6m. These systems are available with an electric or hydraulic 6DOF motion system. The system is an absolute must for every FEC. Simtec's FUNRIDE OCS and CCS (open
cabin simulator or closed cabin simulator) product line has been in successful operation for the last 20 years. It can also be operated as an exciting immersive tunnel attraction. The combination of 2D or 3D images,
motion impressions and additional special effects such as rain, heat, wind, scent and seat vibration take guests on an unbelievable journey. The integration of these effects – both visual
and physical – provides an immersive experience in simulator attraction technology. The FUNRIDE OCS TR (On Track) is a
special FUNRIDE version. The motion system is mounted on a platform which allows moving the system through or into a dome theatre. Simtec's FUNRIDE CCS is a closed cabin
simulator. The closed cabin enhances the possibilities of customised sound projection. Guests enter a themed closed cabin with
Andreas Stickel, Director Business Development
projection screens and feel like walking into another world. Simtec's FUNRIDE motion- based systems are available for between 2-100 guests.
Interactive Dark Ride Simtec's Interactive Dark Ride combines a traditional dark ride concept with competitive fun. Individually designed vehicles with rotation (rotating passenger cabin with 360° in both directions) and flexibility in speed can be equipped with interactive components and effects.
ScreenFLITE - Digital Signage System 12 LED displays of approximately 2m² each are arranged to form different patterns in an elaborated dance.
Company strengths Simtec seizes its customers’ ideas and suggestions and in a close co-operation creates individual simulation attractions. Simtec is flexible in time and design, offering turn-key solutions and prioritising the establishment of long-term relationship with clients to serve them over any Simtec product's life-time.
