wooden roller coasters all over the world. Our roller coasters can be found in the U.S., China, Vietnam, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, the U.K., and Belgium. GCII has current projects at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri, and Efteling Kaatsheuvel in the Netherlands.

Worlds of Fun At Worlds of Fun, GCII is designing and building the new Zambezi Zinger coaster. The new Zambezi coaster will be completely wooden, except for the spiral lift hill which will be made out of GCII’s Titan Track. The spiral lift hill was originally on the old Zambezi

Zinger. Understood as a fan-favourite section of the coaster, GCII is therefore designing it into the new one. On top of featuring its new steel track, the Zambezi Zinger will also include GCII's Infinity Flyer Trains, which can withstand inversions, barrel rolls, and tight radius turn elements within the coaster design.

Efteling: Joris en de Draak re-tracking At Efteling: Worlds of Wonders in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands, GCII is re-tracking Joris en de Draak. Where sections are being retracked, GCII is replacing them with a new wooden track stack and our Titan Track. GCII’s Titan Track will be constructed into a curve on Joris en de Draak which requires something more durable and feasible over time.

Clair Hain, Founder, Great Coasters

New products GCII’s new products, the Titan Track and Infinity Flyer Trains, were both designed a few years ago. Owner Clair Hain came up with the idea of the Titan Track, which is unique because of its full-based rivet system and non- welding requirements. The Titan Track can be implemented into a section of a coaster that has heavy hits and years of wear-and-tear and is needing constant maintenance, resulting in a decrease in the park’s annual maintenance budget. But how do you go from steel to wood whilst keeping the ride completely smooth? GCII has created a product that feels like you are riding on glass and has an extremely smooth transition into the wood. The Infinity Flyer trains are GCII’s newest

train design, allowing for tighter turns, quicker crests, faster valleys, inversions, and more track in less space. Like the Titan Track, maintenance is reduced with the trains because there are 80% fewer welds meaning the chassis is composed of large machined parts. Components can be easily adjusted for varying lift chain geometry, brakes, and launch systems for new and existing coasters.
