Mundo Aventura Mundo Aventura is one of Bogotá's emblematic parks. It is a contribution of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá for all the inhabitants of the capital and the 12 million tourists who visit it annually. Its administration is in charge of the Corporation for the Development of Parks and Recreation in Bogotá, Corparques, and since it opened its doors, in January 1998, it has received more than 15 million guests. In the course of 2019, Mundo Aventura has made investments that exceed

US $ 1.7 million, as revealed by sources of Coparques. In 2018, it had in total 1.25 million visitors, which places it in the first place in the ranking of the amusement parks of Colombia. The first of its new attractions is Air Race, which simulates the sensations of an

acrobatic flight. The attraction, which has a capacity of 24 people per cycle, is unique in the country and exclusive to the most important international parks, including the IMG Worlds of Adventure, the largest covered theme park in the world, located in Dubai. Air Race has an eight-meter cone with arms that rotate independently and

offers the opportunity to 24 people per cycle to experience the 5G force, a feeling that fighter pilots have. The Italian company Zamperla manufactured the attraction and its cost was close to US $ 1 million. “The decision to bring this new attraction to the country is due to our initiative

of permanent innovation,” said Mauricio Bernal, CEO of Corparques. “We are very pleased to open the Air Race. Thanks to its high safety standards, it is suitable for the whole family, including children with a height of 1.30 m and above”, Bernal added.
