Rides 4 U delivers game-changing attractions package
Great success anticipated for Rides 4 U; Big Air Coaster is the main event, with mix of hamster wheel and spinning coaster cars
R
ides 4 U has unveiled a package of attractions perfectly suited for family entertainment centres and amusement parks looking to make an impact in a
small space. “For years, we’d discussed the possibility of locating
multiple rides within one footprint. This year, we did it,” observed Len Soled of Rides 4 U. “The result is a complete grouping of rides that will thrill and delight guests all inside of the footprint of our new Big Air Coaster.” The Big Air Coaster is the headliner of the package. The
coaster’s rounded rectangular layout features turns and bunny hops that send SBF/Visa’s popular spinning coaster cars whirling. The front car of the multi-car train that circled the booth was a vehicle that turned riders 360º head-over- heels. It looked like a human hamster wheel, and during the show there was up to a two-hour wait to ride on the car. Soled said the first Big Air Coaster has been sold to
Craig’s Cruisers, Silver Lake, Michigan, with other orders pending. “The Big Air Coaster was a home run at IAAPA Expo 2019,” he smiled. “Some coaster enthusiasts said the ride was one of the best coaster experiences they have had. Using both the ‘hamster wheel’ car and the spinning coaster cars on one train really allows for The Big Air Coaster to offer two very unique, and very different rides along one track. Thrill seekers will wait in line for the ‘hamster wheel,’ while the spinning cars have a lower height requirement and

are perfect for families who want to ride together.” Big Air Coaster’s layout had adequate space within to
place other rides from SBF/Visa, and Rides 4 U did just that. They displayed a Drop ‘N Twist Tower that had been bolted together that lured eyes to the conglomeration of rides while guests dropped, spun and bounced aboard with delight. The popular Mini Dance Party 360 sent thrill-seeking guests spinning head-over-heels. Finally, a Mini Break Dance had guests swirling with intense and fun g-forces. All three rides, augmented with spectacular LED lighting packages, are destined for Jolly Roger Pier in Ocean City, Maryland. “These attractions are available individually, and we’ve
sold most of them for years,” explained Soled. “However, now, FECs and amusement parks can order the whole package or plan for it and have four breathtaking attractions all within a tight footprint. These rides deliver the thrills and fun, each one can be a boost for an FEC or park on their own. But together, they are an instant game-changer.” Stewart Amusement Carnival of Connecticut will receive
the SBF/Visa Skyflyer mini coaster on display, while Dino’s Wonderwheel Park at Coney Island, New York, will also receive a Skyflyer. Jack Hammer, a drop tower with a new theme, will go to Casino Pier, Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Rides 4 U has sold a KMG Surf Ride to Western Playland,
Sunland Park, New Mexico. The Track, Gulf Shores, Alabama, will receive a new compact spinning coaster.
