MetaBet hires Leah Mayo as VP of Operations
MetaBet, the leading provider of real-time sports betting tools and interactive engagement technology, has appointed Leah Mayo as vice president of operations.
Mayo has more than a decade of operational leadership spanning start-ups, government, and non-profi t sectors, and will be integral in accelerating MetaBet’s growth as the business enters its next chapter.
A core focus of the role will be working closely with MetaBet CEO, Mark Phillip, to deliver on the company’s vision, streamline internal operations, and ensure day-to-day execution across fi nance, HR, compliance, and sales support. Mayo will be
creating operational frameworks that allow MetaBet to build on its strong

Brazilian Ministry of Sports and Sportradar sign partner agreement
The Brazilian Ministry of Sports and Sportradar Group AG have formalised a Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) focused on protecting the integrity of sports betting in the country. The partnership provides for the exchange of information related to the betting market and the implementation of joint initiatives to combat match fi xing.
Sportradar will provide specialised support to the Brazilian Ministry of Sports, including the

reporting of potentially suspicious activity detected by its industry-leading Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS). In addition, Sportradar will provide education and training for Ministry of Sports personnel and staff focused on best practices in monitoring, identifying and investigating suspicious activities. The fi rst workshop was held in May and included the Brazilian Ministry of Finance. André Fufuca, Brazil’s Minister of Sport, said: “Today we signed a milestone agreement in the fi ght against match-fi xing in Brazilian sports. Integrity must be a constant principle when it comes to transparency, ethics, and, above all, the fairness of sports results.” Andreas Krannich, EVP Sportradar said: “Through this collaboration, Sportradar continues to reaffi rm its commitment to a more transparent and safer sports environment for the athletes and all the stakeholders involved in Brazilian sport.
