DRGT and Paf Celebrate a 20-Year Cruise Ship and Ferry Collaboration


2025 marks the 20th anniversary of Belgian-owned DR Gaming Technology (DRGT) and Åland- based Paf’s partnership in delivering casino service and product management excellence to the cruise and ferry sector.

ur Company commenced licenced gaming on the 1st of January 1967 with just two


part-time employees and 51 slot machines’, starts Paf Chief Operating Officer (COO): Lasse Danielsson, ‘…. and today I can proudly state that we now employ around 320 staff, from 20-odd different countries, out of almost 10 European offices, and on over 26 cruise ships and ferries in the Baltic and North Sea.”


Whilst Paf was established some time before DRGT, the two Companies follow a

similar growth trajectory with now Executive Chairman: Jurgen De Munck and Chief Technical Officer (CT): Michiel van Dam establishing the casino management system and jackpot technology developer and service provider as an initial ‘two-man show’ in 2003. It too has now grown to more than 150 staff and operates out of offices on all continents apart from Australasia and on more than 80,000 devices across the globe. “I truly believe that what has made our relationship so successful is our aligned vision to deliver unparalleled service and
