So… here we go again (for the last time!) A bit dramatic I know, but heading to ExCeL for the last London edition of ICE does feel like quite a big deal. I’m praying next year’s Barcelona venue has good signage because (being modest) I feel like I’ve totally nailed ExCeL’s numbering system and have no desire to employ my other method of being on time for show appointments (which basically involves laying face-down on the floor like a toddler, kicking my feet and screaming “Where is QUIXANT!?” until an adult picks me up and carries me to my next meeting). Still reading? Wow! I admire your dedication to my intro. Thanks for being here. Anyway, this issue is a typically busy one, featuring part two of our show preview as well as some smart contributions from our usual gaggle of experts. If I could draw your attention to some specific features, I’d urge you to head on over to page 42, where we catch up with Wayne Ellard a full year after we spoke to him when he first donned the MD hat over at Light & Wonder. IGT are our cover stars this month, and you’ll find a cracking
article on page 38 talking about their multi-level progressive portfolio, along with some pearls of wisdom from IGT’s Senior Content Director, Peter Post.
