bros bail application in Mahadev App case The Chhattisgarh High Court has delivered its verdict in the case involving the Mahadev App scandal. The bail plea of the accused hawala traders, Anil Dammani and Sunil Dammani, has been dismissed. Justice NK Chandravanshi presided over the court’s ruling. As reported by Zee News, prior to this, the
court had kept the decision reserved after the completion of the hearing. The hearing took place at the Bilaspur High Court on Wednesday. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED)
arrested both brothers in connection with the Mahadev app case. Following their arrest, they had filed a bail plea at the ED’s special court
in Raipur, which was rejected. Subsequently, the brothers approached the High Court against this decision. The Dammani brothers are accused of
involvement in a multi-million hawala racket concerning the Mahadev Satta app. Consequently, both were arrested at the end of August. On the 23rd of August, the ED conducted raids in Raipur and Durg under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, resulting in the arrest of hawala traders Anil and Sunil Dammani, along with ASI Chandra Bhushan Verma and Satish Chandrakar. Presently, all accused individuals are in judicial custody.

Play ecosystems.” Reported Money Control Google is actively collaborating with developers to align this new approach with the diverse economics and earning models prevalent in the industry. More details about the new policy and expansion plans will be shared in the coming months. As of now, Google imposes a 15-30 per cent
service fee on in-app purchases and app sales. An alternative billing system, known as “user choice billing,” offers a 4 per cent rate reduction on the service fee. Mumbai Police arrested 50 in a raid on Matka gambling
In a targeted operation, Mumbai Police’s crime branch successfully dismantled a Matka gambling den located near a central Mumbai bar, resulting in the arrest of 50 individuals. Matka gambling, also known as satta, involves a lottery-style game based on random number selection and betting. The crackdown unfolded after the police received information about ongoing satta activities within a shed
near a bar in the Bhoiwada area. Acting swiftly, a senior crime branch officer reached the location and took decisive action. The shed was sealed from the outside, and additional personnel were called in for support. As per PTI, reported that despite a few individuals evading capture, law enforcement arrested two
managers, two cashiers, 16 writers, and 30 customers during the operation. Authorities also seized a substantial amount of evidence, including Rs 3.76 lakh in cash and other related materials. In response to the incident, a case has been registered at the Bhoiwada police station, and an extensive

Following the arrests, the ED had sought
remand for all the accused, interrogating them during two separate remand periods. Due to the rejection of their bail, they were placed in judicial custody. Whether they will remain in jail or be released is contingent upon the court’s forthcoming decision. The final decision regarding their status awaits the court’s pronouncement.
