ustomer acquisition was a big topic at this year’s iGB Live with operators looking for alternative ways of driving new player sign-ups at scale. This was certainly the case for those active in the US market, where operators have dropped hundreds of millions of dollars on ad campaigns and bonuses over the past 12 months.
But the consensus among those the operators that attended iGB Live was that spending smart is a much bigger focus to spending big with question mark returns. With regulation and consolidation still a major topic, it is clear that operators are on a quest for a much stronger return on ad spend and much more data driven than in the past to achieve this.

Whale Productions team attended iGB Live and what an introduction to the event it was. More than 9,000 delegates attended over the three days, and this was appointments.
With a fully booked calendar way ahead of the event, we already knew it was going to be highly productive. We all enjoyed connecting with customers and also sitting down with new faces to showcase Golden Whale’s powerful technologies and solutions.

Overall, iGB Live exceeded our expectations – we met with customers, signed new deals and even featured in the conference issue of iGaming Business magazine. It really was an incredible event, and we are already looking forward to returning once again next year.
