El gran problema de partidos arreglados se manifiesta en Brasil, donde es de suma preocupación para el Ejecutivo y los legisladores, quienes al tanto de esta nueva plaga criminal que afecta al deporte les ha puesto una piedra en el camino para promulgar el reglamento de apuestas deportivas que legalice el sector. Sin embargo, como se ve, el problema no es local, y toca a todos, empezando por la FIFA, atacar el problema con todo y con suma urgencia. Los delincuentes andan a la orden del día, y nos toca a todos poner nuestro granito de arena contra quienes buscan el desprestigio de nuestra industria.

reported in Brazil, where it is of utmost concern to the Executive and legislators, who are aware of this new criminal plague that affects the sport and is delaying enactment of sports betting regulations. Nevertheless, as can be seen, the problem is not local, and it is up to everyone, starting with FIFA, to attack the problem in football with everything they can and with great urgency. Criminals are found everywhere and in every industry. It is up to all of us to do our bit against those who seek to discredit our industry.

Presidenta firma Ley del juego y apuestas deportivas online
El ministro de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, Juan Carlos Mathews, destacó la publicación de la nueva Ley Nº 31806, referida a la explotación de los juegos a distancia y apuestas deportivas a distancia, señalando que esta nueva norma perfecciona algunos aspectos de la anterior, lo que permitirá impulsar las inversiones en este sector y un juego responsable. La nueva Ley que regula la explotación de los juegos y apuestas deportivas a distancia ratifica que el Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo (Mincetur) es la autoridad administrativa a nivel nacional que regula, autoriza, revoca, fiscaliza y sanciona la explotación de los juegos a distancia y apuestas deportivas a distancia. Entre algunos aspectos del nuevo dispositivo legal se señala, de manera clara, que solo podrán participar de esta actividad aquella persona natural mayor de edad, de nacionalidad peruana o extranjera, registrada en las plataformas tecnológicas de los juegos o apuestas deportivas a distancia
autorizadas para su explotación por el Mincetur. En el caso de los
establecimientos de salas de juego de apuestas deportivas a distancia, estos podrán estar ubicados en un local de esta actividad exclusiva u otros que realicen una actividad adicional como la venta de otros productos o servicios. Asimismo,
las empresas autorizadas por Mincetur deben poseer una plataforma tecnológica con la extensión “
.bet.pe”, “.bet”, “.com”, “.pe” o “
.com.pe”.
Respecto a las apuestas, la nueva ley indica que jugador debe realiza el pago de sus apuestas con dinero circulante, tarjetas de crédito, débito o cualquier otro medio de pago, con excepción de las criptomonedas. En el caso de obtener premios, estos podrán ser cobrados por el medio de pago que el jugador elija o, en su

PERU President signs Online Gaming and Sports Betting Law
The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Juan Carlos Mathews, highlighted the publication of the new Law No. 31806, referring to the exploitation of remote (online) games and remote sports betting, which improves some aspects of the previous Law to promote investments in this sector, as well as responsible gaming. The Minister added that he was in full agreement with amendments made by Congress in order to have an adequate regulatory legal framework for the online gambling sector. The new Law regulating the exploitation of remote sports games and betting ratifies the role of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) as the administrative authority at the national level in charge of regulating, authorizing, revoking, supervising and also sanctioning the exploitation of remote games and sports betting at a distance (online).
Among some aspects passed by the new law, it is clearly stated that only persons of legal age, of Peruvian or foreign nationality, registered on the technological platforms of remote sports games or bets authorized for exploitation by Mincetur, may participate in this activity. In the case of remote sports betting room establishments, these may be located in a place exclusively for this activity, or others that carry out an additional activity such as the sale of other products or services. The new law also states that companies authorized by Mincetur must have a technological platform with the name extension “
.bet.pe”, “.bet”, “. com”, “.pe” or “
.com.pe” obtained from a public or private entity or organization
responsible for granting the respective domains with the aforementioned name extensions.. On the issue of betting, the new law indicates that players must
make payment of their bets with cash, credit cards, debit cards or any other means of payment, with the exception of cryptocurrencies. In the case of winnings or being paid, these may be collected by the means of payment that the player chooses or, failing that, through an account in his name opened in a company
