European Casino Association announces its support for The British Casino Awards

he European Casino Association (ECA) has announced its support for The British Casino Awards, to be held in association with the National Casino Forum on Tuesday 6 February


at the Hippodrome Casino London. Organised by Datateam Business Media, the publisher of leading industry title Casino International to celebrate excellence in gaming, the event will reward the people, products and services that make the industry great. The ECA represents licensed land-based


casinos in Europe, with 27 members and over 70,000 direct employees supporting local economies across Europe. It has members from nearly all EU Member States, as well as non-EU countries. The main purpose and objective of the ECA is to address and promote issues related to casinos and the wider gambling industry, as well as promote the positive contribution of the industry. Vice chair Tracy Damestani says: “While


many of the awards are for UK-based casinos and the products licensed to operate within them, there are two very high-profile categories which will be of particular interest to members: ‘Overall Casino Operator of the Year’ – open to any operator in the UK and Europe; and ‘European Casino of the Year’, for independent and multiple European operators only.” Tracy continues: “This is a fantastic


opportunity for ECA members to showcase their products and services on the UK stage and in doing so, set the benchmark for excellence in the UK and Europe.” Media director Paul Ryder comments:
