de Senadores, PLS 186/2014, y luego su votación por el pleno del Senado brasileño.

cuenta con los dedos que si todo v bien, el proyecto de ley tiene hasta mediados de diciembre para entrar al pleno senatorial. Con suerte, también, los presidentes de las cámaras legislativas, senador Eunicio Oliveira y diputado Rodrigo Maia, se habrían reunido para buscar un acercamiento que trate un acercamiento del PLS 186/2014 con el PL 442/1991 de Diputados. El año pasado creíamos que Papa Noel nos iba a regalar una
ley de casinos brasileña, y muchos de nosotros aún seguimos creyendo en Santa Claus. En Perú, también es probable que entre al Congreso el proyecto de ley de juegos online y apuestas deportivas por estos días, y fieles al castigo nos encontramos escribiendo nuestra cartita al Polo Norte para ver si por ahí, nos llegan dos piezas legislativas para deleite de brasileños y peruanos. En Colombia, a fines de noviembre, el Online Gaming Show vistió de fiesta a Cartagena tanto en el negocio de las apuestas deportivas y juego online, ya reglamentados en el país, como por las beldades que tomaron parte en el desfile Miss Entertainment. En la edición de C.I. Americano les traeremos un reporte más amplio sobre este importante evento de la región. En esta edición, solamente dos notas, la primera que se cae de madura para que las autoridades pongan la mano en alto para detener lo que algunos empresarios han calificado como un asalto al sector empresarial del juego latinoamericano; y el segundo un anticipo del reporte sobre SAGSE Buenos Aires, que empieza a volver por sus fueros. t’s less than a week to the end of November and we are still waiting for the CCJ - Constitutionality and Justice Commission - to take place, after it was rescheduled for Wednesday 29 to vote on the Brazil Senate gaming Bill PLS 186/2014, which if approved moves to the Senate plenary for debate and vote. With usual optimism, Brazilian Gaming industry people
just cross their fingers hoping that all ends well, as the Bill has until mid-December to be debated in the Senate plenary. Also with luck, the Speakers of Brazil’s legislative chambers, Senator Eunicio Oliveira and Rep. Rodrigo Maia, should have met to seek agreement between PLS 186/2014 and House of Representatives bill, PL 442/1991. Last year we believed that Santa Claus was going to deliver
Brazil gaming law as a Christmas gift, and many of us still have the same belief this year. In Peru, it is also likely that the online and sports betting bill is debated in Congress, and some of us haven’t lost the habit of writing our little begging letter to the North Pole to see if out there good old Santa just plays the game and delivers two legislative pieces to the delight of Brazilians and Peruvians. In Colombia, towards the end of November, the Online Gaming Show brought a good time to Cartagena, not only with the first sports betting and online gaming event, which has already been regulated in the country, but also by the beauties who took part in the Miss Entertainment pageant. In our next edition of C.I. Americano we’ll expand on the theme of this important regional event. Just two items in this Edition. The first needs to be
urgently addressed by the authorities in countries where some industry businessmen have already called such actions an assault on the gaming business sector of Latin America. The second item is a brief note reporting on SAGSE Buenos Aires and its steady rise back to the top. For now, let me wish you all in the gaming industry a very
