Novy launches Easy 90 Prestige T

he latest addition to its collection of venting hobs, Novy has launched the

Easy 90 Prestige, a stylish minimalist 90cm induction hob with front dial rotary controls and an ultra-quiet A+++ energy rated extraction vent.

A professional aesthetic The 90cm hob can be surface or flush-mounted within the worktop for a seamless look. Providing an on-trend professional aesthetic, mineral black aluminium rotary controls are integrated within cabinetry beneath the hob. Four push and turn rotary dial controls adjust the nine power levels and the cooking functions for each zone, while a central control manually adjusts the extraction speeds. A subtle red LED display under the ceramic glass surface indicates all programmes, functions and timers.

Cooking made easy This powerful hob benefits from a wide range of intuitive functions to simplify the cooking process. On either side of the central matrix vent are two octagonal 240 x 210mm cooking zones featuring automatic pot detection, where if a pan is moved, the temperature will be recalled when it is re-situated. Used with a bridging function, both pairs of zones can be converted into larger single Flexzones, ideal for larger or more awkward shaped pans, where a constant temperature will be maintained across the entire cooking area. Functions include Automatic Cooking where the

power boost function is activated to maximum, reducing the temperature to simmer when water is boiled. Once food is cooked, it can be kept on a Keep Warm function at 42°C. Should there be any need to temporarily stop the cooking process, a Stop&Go pause function will reactivate the time and temperature setting. Safety features include a child lock and an auto safety switch-off. There are 99-minute timers on each zone, an independent cooking timer and a count-up timer.

Efficient and intuitive extraction Together with intuitive cooking functions, the central matrix extractor also has intuitive features. Once cooking has started, it will detect cooking odours and vapours and will automatically regulate the extraction speed to quickly and quietly remove them to leave only clean air in the kitchen. It has nine speed settings and a 10-minute run-on timer.

Powerful with a maximum free flow rate of 750m³/h, yet energy efficient with an A+++ energy rating, this vented hob model features very quiet extraction, with a minimum noise level of 35dB(A) and a maximum continuous noise level of 65dB(A).

Extraction or Recirculation The Easy 90 Prestige is available either as an extraction model, or as a recirculation version when installed with an additional recirculation kit. Featuring Novy’s Pure 3.0 recirculation technology, odours and grease particles are neutralised by between 95-100%, providing pure clean recirculated air back in the kitchen.
