New AGA cooker offers best of all worlds T

he brand-new all-electric AGA eR7i 100, offers unparalleled

functionality alongside the iconic style you’d expect from an AGA. Excitingly, this is the first-ever cast-iron 100cm AGA cooker to come complete with a conventional fan oven alongside two cast-iron, heat-storage ovens, making it ultimately flexible in a size that works perfectly in the majority of kitchens.

The all-electric eR7i also has enhanced

controllability via a state-of-the-art digital control panel and the ovens have fast heat-up times. There’s also a programmer for the ovens to ensure you can conserve energy overnight or when you’re away from home, and the top oven has a slumber setting which can be used for either cooking at a low heat or to generate warmth into the room. On top, the cooker has a cast-iron, AGA

hotplate that can be set to either boiling or simmering mode and a multi-functional two-zone induction hob with a bridging feature, making it perfect for use with a griddle or fish kettle. Other features include boil dry detection, timer functions, permanent pot detection, and low-level functions for melting/defrosting and warming and simmering. The AGA hotplate heats up in just 10-12 minutes and is designed to be switched on only when needed AGA heat-storage ovens cook differently, using

gentle radiant heat to lock flavour, moisture and goodness into food. These ovens are spacious allowing for multiple pans and stacking. The roasting/baking oven has nine pre-set temperatures from B1 to R9 which allows you to vary the oven temperature from cool to very hot, ensuring the cooker can cater for all culinary needs. Within this oven, there is a powerful 2.1kW grill with four grilling positions. The fixed temperature simmering oven allows flavours to develop and meld slowly and is perfect for making even the toughest meat tender. The A-Rated 1.8 kW fan oven has pre-set

cook settings from B1 to R9 and heats up in around 15 minutes. Designed to be a cooker for all seasons, an owner may choose to use the fan oven and

induction hob on warmer days and the cast-iron ovens and hotplates on cooler days, which will give them the added benefit of gentle AGA warmth in the kitchen. Every cast-iron AGA cooker is made in

Shropshire, and each element of the iconic design has been carefully considered. From the 17 gorgeous vitreous enamel colours through to the stainless steel removable door liners that can be placed in a dishwasher, every aspect of the cooker has been thought through to offer the very best experience for the user. The new AGA eR7i is also available in 150,

160 and 210cm models. For more information visit the website.
