Woking Superbowl unveils window displays with ultra-bright digital screens

W

&Co has installed six ultra-high brightness, 65in digital screens at

Woking Superbowl, transforming its windows into dynamic, attention-grabbing displays. The new digital signage elevates the venue’s visual appeal and ensures the venue attracts even more attention from passers-by.

The screens display a variety of content, from exciting tournament announcements to special offers, instantly drawing in potential visitors.

The digital screens feature ultra-high brightness panels at commercial-grade, boasting an impressive 3,500cd/m2 brightness – up to ten times brighter than standard domestic televisions. This

ensures that content remains vibrant and clear, even in direct sunlight.

To enhance performance, the screens are equipped with ambient light sensors that automatically adjust the brightness based on the surrounding lighting conditions. This adaptive technology guarantees optimal visibility at all times of day.

The digital screens are designed with a slim bezel, offering a modern, stylish look that complements the Superbowl’s contemporary venue. The narrow bezel maximises the screen area, drawing attention to the captivating content and delivering impactful messaging. To ensure the screens are securely mounted and displayed at the perfect height, W&Co supplied 4m-long

Girton Golf Club receives fresh look thanks to Cambridge Sign Company

The KOPA system has brought Girton Golf Club’s identity to life

C T

ambridge Sign Company has installed a range of wayfinding signs at Girton Golf Club using the KOPA System from Sign Trade Supplies. The requirement was to give the club’s signs a fresh, clean look that would last while staying within a reasonable budget

Nick Dowell, managing director at Cambridge Sign Company, said: “They wanted something durable that also fit with the classic traditional vibe of the club. The old signs had seen better days and weren’t really doing them justice.” KOPA is a great-looking, versatile sign system available in modular kits exclusively from Sign Trade Supplies (STS). The system’s easy installation process and efficient packaging technique make it a perfect choice for this project.

For Girton Golf Club, the oak-finish

posts made all the difference. Mr Dowell added: “The club loved the traditional timber look but were understandably worried about durability. The KOPA system gave them the best of both worlds, classic aesthetics with modern longevity.” The KOPA system’s use of

high-performance bonding tape ensures a clean, fix-free finish. This design feature not only enhances the visual appeal but also provides durability and a contemporary look that aligns with the club’s goals.

Moss used its Nyala 4 to produce the centrepiece acrylic panel. With its sleek gloss finish, the panel’s installation was a highly delicate process, with careful handling guaranteeing a flawless presentation. Account manager, Darren Connell, said:

“Our goal was to enhance the room, not merely blend in. The job demanded innovative solutions, from integrating small features such as the gold chains for hanging the graphics through to the grand centrepiece, ultimately ensuring a display that honours the hall’s 600-years heritage.”

The installation used a selection of

recyclable acrylics and vinyls for minimal environmental impact.
