FASTSIGNS Manchester gives support to Chorley FC through new sponsorship

A

round 1,500 home fans of Chorley FC will now see a 4m pitch-side banner for FASTSIGNS Manchester as the club and company kick off a new partnership. The collaboration was spearheaded by the sign maker’s business development manager Julie Morris, who has a background in the football industry working as front-of-house hospitality on match days at Manchester United.

The banner will now be prominently displayed at the club’s home stadium, Victory Park.

FASTSIGNS Manchester’s director, Nick Ratcliffe, said: “It’s incredibly important for us to support local causes and organisations, and Chorley FC felt like a great match. “Success for us means having a positive impact on the community and building long-term relationships that benefit others as well as our own business.

“Equally, we know many businesses in our area are facing financial challenges, so it’s essential for us to provide support where possible, especially for teams – like Chorley – that depend heavily on volunteers.

Moss launches new carbon calculator

M

oss has designed and launched the UK’s first Carbon Calculator for

the large-format industry. Clients of the company can now be provided with a verified Carbon Emissions Report for each graphics and branding project.

Provided at no extra cost, the tool will precisely calculate the carbon emissions of each material, vehicle and installation process used in every print project, allowing customers to evaluate potential alternatives more easily.

Expressed in CO2e, Moss’ innovative and comprehensive tool calculates the impact of each material selected, its printing, installation and transportation. By providing accurate and ratified measurements for each project, Moss aims to both raise awareness and initiate new conversations about how to reduce carbon emissions across branding and print projects.
