Reliable valve solutions for any job

As a leading manufacturer of heating controls, Drayton is trusted among installers to deliver high-quality, reliable components for effi cient heating system installation and design.

D

rayton’s range of valves includes motorised valves and thermostatic radiator valves

(TRVs), including the best- selling TRV4 range, RT range and selection of auto-balancing TRVs.

Motorised valves Drayton’s range of motorised

valves includes 2-port and 3-port confi gurations to suit Twin or Multi Zone S plans and Bi-Flo Y plans. All of Drayton’s motorised valves are available in 22 and 28mm with ‘snap-on’ actuators, industry-standard dimensions and wiring for simple installation. Manufactured in the UK for

UK homes, Drayton prioritised straightforward system repairs and replacements for installers when designing its motorised valves. Additionally, they boast excellent reliability, longevity and durability for peace of mind.

TRV4 range In 1992, Drayton launched its original TRV4 Classic and has since continued to grow the range by introducing the TRV4 Chrome in 2002, TRV4 White in 2013, TRV4 Anthracite in 2020 and most recently the auto- balancing TRV4 in 2022. As a result of its high quality,

renowned design, compact size and clean lines, Drayton’s TRV4 range has become one of Britain’s best-selling thermostatic radiator valves over the last 33 years. Class 1 rated for effi ciency

by the European Valve Manufacturers Association, the Drayton Classic and White TRV4 are some of the most energy effi cient TRVs on the market – which is essential for keeping cost down for customers. Drayton’s TRV4 range is

designed with a liquid sensor, non-stick internals and a double gland seal to protect against water leakage, as well as a top seal that means it can be removed and replaced without

draining down the entire system. Gland seal replacement kits are also available when required. It also has a wide temperature

range, from a maximum temperature of 30°C down to frost protection. Each TRV4 comes with range-limiting pins, which can help reduce the amount of wasted energy and maintain energy bills by allowing the installer to set minimum and maximum temperatures.

RT range Drayton’s RT range includes RT212 and RT414, which are both accredited to BS EN 215. For entry-level work, the RT212 off ers liquid sensing capabilities for precise temperature control, settings from frost protection to a full 1-6 range, as well as a positive ‘off ’ position which is achieved by turning past the frost setting. The RT414 is a mid-level

valve, and on top of all the features of the RT212, it also has a more ergonomic cap and non-stick internals, which off ers minimal maintenance and a longer-lasting solution. Limescale build-up is also prevented by a plastic insert which ensures the valve opens properly when the heating system is reactivated. Both the RT212 and RT414

come with a range limiting pin to set the minimum and maximum temperature if requested by the customer.

Auto-balancing Drayton’s TRV4 and RT414 ranges now include auto- balancing models that simplify system balancing for installers, reducing time spent on the job while ensuring the system performs well and heats the property as intended. Taking just a few minutes

to fi t, once the auto-balancing TRVs are installed and set, they automatically regulate

the fl ow through each radiator based on system demand, maintaining the correct distribution of hot water no matter how other valves are adjusted. Additionally, this also ensures that a boiler condenses correctly. These factors lead to enhanced effi ciency, lower energy bills – proven to save an average of 8.8% on energy costs – and consistent comfort levels within the house. This helps to reduce the amount of call backs for installers, saving them time and saving their customers money. Auto-balancing valves

must be fi tted to all radiators, including the by-pass, to guarantee optimal effi ciency and performance.

Outstanding support Drayton’s dedicated customer support team, based in Plymouth and backed by years of industry experience, is always on hand to provide guidance and assist with any queries during the installation of Drayton valves.

Drayton+ Rewards Additionally, through Drayton+ Rewards, when registering Drayton products, including valves, installers can earn points that can be exchanged for items from the Drayton Rewards+ catalogue. Plus, installers can access free training on the extensive range of Drayton’s valves. As well as gaining valuable insight and knowledge, these courses will also earn them points. For limited time only,

throughout September double points are available for all valves.
