PHAM NEWS | JUNE 2024 Exhibition Preview 25

Passiv UK (5G92) Drop by to find out about the Passiv Smart Thermostat, designed specifically for controlling heat pumps. Backed by 10+ years of R&D, it simplifies heat pump control, potentially reducing heating bills by 30% and increasing Coefficient of Performance by 17%, while optimising for time- of-use tariffs and solar generation. The Passiv Smart Thermostat learns a home’s heating patterns, using local weather forecasts to meet comfort requirements through smart preheating, removing the need for installers to set a weather compensation curve. The wired or wireless thermostat with built-in wiring centre speeds up installation, and the product enables heat pump owners to earn from Greener Grid Payments for reducing demand.

Rehau (5H47) The company is set to highlight the role that its pre-insulated pipe systems have in the future of district heating and heat pumps, with the Rauvitherm pipe system taking centre stage. The pipe system’s flexibility is said to make it the perfect solution for a variety of different applications, from heat pumps to small to medium heat networks. Also featuring on the stand will be the company’s full plumbing and heating range,

including the recently launched Rautitan Flex Green sustainable pipe system. Throughout the show Rehau will be hosting a competition to see who can make a fitting in the fastest time. The fastest time each day will win a £150 Love2shop voucher.

Resideo (5F58) Visit Resideo to learn about its smart home solutions, grab a beer, and chat with the expert team. Explore the new online System Builder for specifying Honeywell Home evohome smart zoned heating, and discuss Resideo’s range of heat pump compatible thermostats, including the evohome, DT4, and T3, designed

to boost low carbon technology’s effectiveness. The stand also features an exciting ‘Beat the Vault’ competition to win a Playstation 5, special show promotions up to 25% on product bundles, and the opportunity to ask technical experts about installation, servicing, and training.

Roman (4E30) Roman will showcase the latest from its Innov8, Liberty, and Haven Select Wetrooms collections, alongside new upgraded Solid Surface Gel Coat Shower Trays. Attendees can experience Roman’s Fast Fix assembly, featuring pre-set profiles, screws, and key slots for hassle-free, time-

saving installation. Roman’s ranges also come with the Ultra Care glass protection system as standard, creating a barrier that allows water to effortlessly glide off, maintaining easy clean and preventing limescale build-up. These practical solutions reflect Roman’s focus on delivering user- friendly products that cater to the rising influence of installers in the domestic market.
