Global engineering company Alfa Laval has announced the appointment of Rachel Bridges as the new managing director. She brings 20 years of experience from Cummins Inc and will oversee Alfa Laval’s business in a number of sectors including marine, energy, food and beverage, and water management.
CEO of ARM Environments Adam Taylor (pictured) has been elected as chair of the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) group of the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA). He takes over from Nathan Wood, MD of Farmwood M&E Services, who is taking up a new position as head of special projects.
Plumbing equipment distributor Navigator MSL has recruited two new area sales managers – David Corr (pictured) and Mark Mayes. David will oversee business in Scotland and the North East of England while Mark will cover the South East, including Kent, Sussex, Surrey and South London.
Adveco has welcomed Ashleigh Rushton and Will Wright as account sales managers. Ashleigh, with prior experience at New City Heating and Primafl ow F&P, will oversee East Anglia and Northern Home Counties. Will, with a background in construction supply, will manage the Northwest and North Wales regions as Adveco supports clients’ net zero and sustainability goals.
Lee Aris has been named national manager for Elta Trade. Formerly branch manager at Elta Group’s Idealair distributor in Australia, Lee will leverage his expertise to expand Elta Trade’s reach in the UK, with a focus on delivering compliant air movement equipment for contractors.
The Trustee Company has appointed Stephen Graham as chief executive of Plumbing Pensions. Stephen, who joined Plumbing Pensions in 2017, will be responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the Administration Company, as well as supporting the Trustee Company in running and administering the industry pension scheme.

John Doherty EngTech, a qualifi ed Master Plumber, has been elected as the 100th President of the Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers Federation (SNIPEF). As President, he aims to address the skills shortage and advance the transition to low carbon home heating, crucial for meeting net zero targets.
