PHAM NEWS | JUNE 2024 20 Exhibition Preview


Abode (Stand A14) As a sponsor of the Hot Tap Advice Hub at the show, Abode will display three working Pronteau instant hot water taps, performing demonstrations and offering expert advice, technical product information, and marketing materials to visitors. The Pronteau taps deliver 98°C steaming hot water on demand, complying with Part G(3) of the UK Building Regulations. Available with 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 functionality, the taps feature Abode’s patented HotKey Sensor Technology, ProBoil intelligent boilers, and other designed-in safety and convenience features.


Aalberts (5B26) The manufacturer behind leading brands like Pegler and Terrier will be introducing the ‘Beat the Bar’ challenge, a competition where installers will be able to test their strength and endurance in a bid to win prizes, including a Meta Quest VR Headset. The on-the- stand challenge will feature bars made of VSH Tectite fittings and participants will be asked to hold the weight on the bar for as long as possible. Visitors to the stand will also have a chance to learn about the company’s VSH XPress ranges, as well as the latest Pegler Terrier TRV and Pegler valve ranges.


Adey (5E25) Visitors to the stand will have an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the science behind poor water quality and will also be able to get ‘hands on’ with Adey’s range of water treatment solutions and services. There will be demonstrations to show what happens in a heating system once water starts to circulate, showing the role of corrosion in system damage and what can be done to prevent it. There will also be a microscope on hand where installers will


be able to get a close up view of corrosion.


Altecnic (5E30) The hydronic solutions specialist will be displaying a number of its recently launched products, including the new Apartment Control Assembly Plus valve assembly for multi-occupancy developments and the latest evolution of the Caleffi Series 116 Thermal Balancing Valve. Visitors will also be able to find out more about the company’s expanded range of products designed to assist with heat pump systems, such as the Caleffi Series 548 Wall Mounted Buffer Tanks for hybrid projects.


Ambiente (5D17)


The underfloor heating specialist will be showcasing products designed to make UFH installations quicker and easier and its team of experts will be on hand to provide technical insight and advice. Visitors to the stand can also bag a free football in exchange for information about upcoming or prospective underfloor heating projects and will also have the opportunity to benefit from a 25% show discount on Ambiente’s new


SpeedSpanner30. The spanner is a new tool designed to connect pipes to Ambiente’s manifold seven times faster than a regular wrench.


Arctic Hayes (5C14) The company’s stand will focus on two flagship products: the Pipe Freeze Kits and the Trappex water filter and Scalematic range, with live demonstrations of the Pipe Freeze Kits to show off the simplicity and effectiveness of using the tool in real-world scenarios. An expert team will be on hand to offer installers personalised advice and solutions for their specific challenges faced in the field. Additionally, plumbing legend Allen Hart will be joining the team on Thursday, June 27th, providing an opportunity to gain insights from his extensive experience. Visitors will also have the chance to receive an exclusive international football wallchart, subject to availability.


Baxi (5F42) Professionals are invited to explore Baxi’s full range of residential and commercial heating and hot water solutions. The brand will present solutions for both sectors, allowing visitors to view the portfolio and discuss opportunities as the industry moves towards decarbonisation. Highlights are set to include demonstrations of Baxi’s air source heat pump systems, electric boilers and cylinders, and district heating solutions. Don’t miss the Heat Exchange area – an area dedicated to a programme of talks, demonstrations and presentations led by experts. Visitors can expect to hear about topics ranging from the key principles of home decarbonisation to the importance of heat pump commissioning.


Bullfix (5A14) Discover the simpler, stronger, smarter plasterboard fixing, described as a revolutionary new way of addressing the problem of attaching heavy objects to plasterboard. With the flexibility to be used in stud walls, dot & dab as well as insulation backed plasterboard, Bullfix Universal offers a one stop solution that is super strong and quick to use. With the ability for one fixing to hold one man’s weight, the strength of Bullfix is derived from its patented design that incorporates wings that open up automatically behind the plasterboard as the fixing is inserted every time.


Carrier (5C30)


Emphasising its ‘Road to Net Zero’ commitment with new technologies and product showcases for residential and light commercial sectors, the Carrier stand will feature the Toshiba, Riello, and Vokèra brands. Highlights include Carrier’s new R32 monobloc air-to-water heat pumps (Daiseikai, Haori, and Estia), Toshiba’s compression technology advancements, Vokèra’s hybrid- ready boiler solutions, and Riello’s burner technology, alongside products like the NXHM R32 ASHP Monobloc and RS ULX (Ultra- Low NOx) burner. The stand will demonstrate Carrier’s advances in sustainability, indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and carbon emissions.


Cistermiser (4H20) Known for its Combimate solution in the domestic sector, Cistermiser is set to launch a new water saving innovation for water management across the public sector and beyond, with an exclusive unveiling at the event. The stand will also feature Cistermiser’s sister company Keraflo, which develops, designs, and manufactures electronic tank management systems and delayed action mechanical float valves for commercial and public buildings. Additionally, a special ‘magical’ guest will be on the stand on June 25th and 26th, playing watery tricks to highlight the importance of water conservation.


Conex Bänninger (5D19) As a specialist of high-quality fittings, valves, and accessories, Conex Bänninger has included an interactive touch-screen display on its stand to show how to find the right product for a given application. There will also be a ‘Head-to-Head’ >B< Sonic challenge for installers, with the chance to win daily prizes. On display will be a mix of plumbing, heating, and ACR solutions, including >B< MaxiPro’s new larger size 15/8" fitting, >B< Press, and Conex Compression. Visitors will also have a chance to preview new products, such as >B< Flow, the new ‘Y’ joint compatible with >B< MaxiPro. The stand will also feature products and systems from within the IBP Group.


Dimplex (5H90) As an expert in electric heating, Dimplex will present its sustainable and innovative products. The stand will feature low carbon solutions, including Alta Wi-Fi panel heaters, the newly launched IRP Far-Infrared panel heater, and the whole home heating solution, Quantum HHR storage heater, Q-Rad electric radiator, Edel hot water heat pump and the Dimplex Control Hub. Visitors will also get a preview of new heaters coming in autumn 2024 and see Xpelair ventilation products. Installers can also learn about the company’s PRO Installer Club, offering training, support, and prizes, through interactive games on the stand.
