IPG member marks 20 years in business
Staff, trade partners and customers of Unique Plumbing Supplies recently helped the company to commemorate its 20th anniversary with a week long celebration. Daily branch raffles provided customers with the chance to win prizes, culminating in a grand draw at the Eastleigh branch and a feast of hotdogs and other refreshments. As well as Eastleigh, the independent merchant
has also established branches in Hedge End, Romsey, Chandlers Ford and Fareham, cementing its status as a trusted supplier in Hampshire. Investments in showroom expansions and mezzanine floor installations have bolstered the company’s capacity
to meet the evolving needs of its customers, while membership of the The IPG, a support group for independent merchants, has enabled it to offer some of the biggest brands at competitive prices. ◼

Expansion for plumbing distributor
Plumbing industry distributor Navigator MSL is set to begin a major £1 million redevelopment of its HQ in Sharnbrook, near Bedford.
The full planning application has been approved
and will see the existing head office and warehouse extended and refurbished, quadrupling the current office space and providing an additional 700 pallet spaces in the extended and refurbished warehouse. The specification has been designed to meet Class A environmental standards, with the whole site aiming for net zero by 2025. MD Andrew Smith comments: “These are hugely exciting times for Navigator MSL as we see impressive growth in the business, year on year. That growth has demanded that we have bigger and better facilities from which to offer the exceptional products and services we are providing for our customer base.” ◼
