Zyxel Hugh Simpson takes on the role of EMEA marketing development manager – Wireless LAN, supporting partners in driving sales of WiFi solutions.


Simpson brings more than two decades of experience working in the


networking business to this pivotal post – over half of which was spent at Zyxel. Previously, he spent 13 years at the company, most recently as European Pre-Sales Manager – a role he performed for three years, before leaving at the end of 2018. He has returned aſter an absence of around four and a half years, during which time he has worked in key pre-sales roles at specialist network and mobile services companies. Commenting on the appointment, Jean-Michel Bielli, senior vice


president channel sales EMEA and North America at Zyxel, said: “We want to be a leader in the EMEA wireless LAN market and see tremendous potential for growth with our partners. Hugh knows our business and with his in-depth experience and expertise in business development, he will play a pivotal role in helping us to support partners in growing their sales of Zyxel’s wireless products.”


TD Synnex Simon Bennett, currently senior director, enterprise soſtware and cloud, UK and Ireland, is being promoted to managing director, Advanced Solutions, UK&I TD Synnex.


Bennett will take up his position when the current managing director,


Advanced Solutions, UK&I, Matt Child, moves into his new role leading TD Synnex’s European digital strategy in December. As senior vice president, digital, Europe, Child will be stepping into the shoes of Andy Gass, who is retiring from the business in January 2024, aſter a 30-year career at the company. Commenting on his appointment, Bennett said: “Over the last four


years, Matt has built a fantastic team with incredible depth of capability. He has established the Advanced Solutions business as a leader in the enablement and aggregation of emerging technologies and a genuinely trusted advisor for channel partners. I look forward to continuing and building on that success and taking the business into the next exciting phase of its development.” Bennett has been with the company since the 2009 acquisition of


SDG, where he was an internal sales and operations manager. He then developed his career with TD Synnex (formerly Tech Data), from sales general manager to business unit director and since 2019, has been senior director of enterprise soſtware and cloud in the Advanced Solutions business unit.


Cisco Rodney Clark steps into the position of senior vice president, partnerships and small and medium business. Clark is a proven global sales and business leader with


deep channel experience. Trough each stop of his career, he has driven transformation at scale,


been a passionate advocate for the channel, and a strong, empathetic leader who invests deeply in his teams. In his new role, Clark will empower and enable Cisco’s global


ecosystem of partners, strengthen the company’s position in routes to market such as managed services and cloud marketplaces, and help Cisco

During a nearly 25-year career at Microsoſt, Clark held various senior sales leadership positions, including corporate VP, global channel sales and channel chief. Prior to Microsoſt, he spent nine years with IBM in sales, marketing, and management capacities. Most recently, he was the chief commercial officer at Johnson Controls.


Logitech Logitech International has appointed Hanneke Faber as the company’s chief executive officer. She will take on the role effective December 1, 2023.

is an exceptional business executive with proven leadership experience at a global scale. She has driven growth and transformation across multi-billion-dollar businesses at three of the world’s leading product companie. team, will take on that of chief sustainability officer in addition to his current position of senior vice-president of global operations, which he has held for the past seven years. Erna de Ruijter-Quist becomes chief people officer a member of Westcon-Comstor’s executive leadership team, reporting to CEO David Grant with responsibility for all people- related matters. As chief sustainability officer, Brzezinski will have overall responsibility
