Te culmination of this expansion led to the consolidation of operations into the enormous Burnley Bridge facility, which took 18 months to build initially and has been operational and developing for seven years. Tere is a robo-wrapper, for example, that efficiently reduces the amount of wrapping material used, cutting down each kilogram used previously, to 650 grams. Exertis has taken a proactive stance in addressing the issue of ‘shipping fresh

As an added measure, DHL staff are stationed in- house, overseeing outgoing goods and ensuring that each shipment is correct for the courier to process and transport. Exertis remains committed to the ongoing enhancement of
the NDC, having recently closed other facilities to consolidate operations to Burnley Bridge. Te company views investment as a continuous process, adapting to technological advancements and industry demands.
