TousandEyes, Armin Neumaier, Head of Partner & Channel Sales EMEAR explains how the Cisco TousandEyes partnership has evolved.
Please could you tell us about your background and current role at Cisco TousandEyes? Being one year in the role as Head of Partner and Channel Sales for Cisco TousandEyes in EMEAR, I have the pleasure of leading a team dedicated to helping our partners and customers on their digital journeys. I studied computer science so I’ve always had a bit of an affinity for soſtware, which lends itself well to this role and the power of SaaS-based solutions in today’s enterprise environment. Before making the move over to TousandEyes, I spent years leading Partner Sales within Cisco and prior to that, I led an EMEAR-based team at SES Satellites in Luxembourg.

How do you plan to lead growth of the channel team since the Cisco acquisition in 2020? My years of channel experience, a majority of which were working directly with Cisco Partners, means that I’m keenly attuned to what it is that our partners need in order to support them in their commitment to solve customer problems. Success in today’s cloud-first world depends on delivering exceptional digital experiences to both customers and employees over networks that sit beyond enterprises’ control. In this new world, overcoming Internet blind spots is crucial, which comes by being able to pinpoint where along the entire digital supply chain, issues are occurring that impact the delivery of digital experience. Tat requires visibility into the application itself, the Internet, the cloud, and the countless internal and external networks every application runs on.
