Logitech Rugged Lite keyboard case gives schools confidence in iPad protection
Logitech has launched Rugged Lite, the newest keyboard case for iPad (7th, 8th and 9th gen). With an optimal angle for typing and viewing, a sealed, pluck-proof keyboard, and military-grade drop protection, the case was designed for students. Rugged Lite delivers durability and protection for iPad at an affordable price point. The case sets an iPad at the ideal angle so students can naturally type / view, and when the case is collapsed students can easily sketch and read in the classroom and at home. Rugged Lite can withstand drops of up to 1.2 meters, so it’s ready for all the tumbles and falls that can happen during a school day. Along with dependable protection, Rugged Lite minimises interruptions in the classroom. The out-of-the-box compatibility reduces setup and troubleshooting time for educators. The battery is long-lasting too, designed to last one school year, based on an hour of usage every day, including holidays and weekends for eight straight months. Vertiv introduces single-phase UPS for distributed IT networks and Edge computing applications
Vertiv has introduced Vertiv Liebert GXE, an online double-conversion single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) available in six and 10 kVA power ratings in tower or rackmount configuration. The system is designed to provide reliable power to distributed IT networks and edge computing applications. The Liebert GXE performs with high efficiency up to 94% in online mode and up to 98% in ECO mode, driving energy and operational costs savings compared to other models available on the market. The high output power factor of 1.0 enables continuous and reliable power to more connected devices, protecting them against many disturbances in the AC mains with the online double conversion technology and the input surge protection. The flexible rackmount or tower form factor, with rackmount kits included as a standard, facilitates stock management for distribution in the IT channel and simplifies installation to accommodate various micro data centre and edge computing needs. The unit’s runtime can be extended with up to four external battery cabinets (EBC) and the hot-swappable VRLA batteries can be easily replaced by users. Additionally, the Liebert GXE has an integrated 4 Amps charger providing quick battery recharge up to 90% in just three hours and an integrated battery management system to optimise battery life and recycling. Vertiv channel partners can take advantage of a complete range of warranty extensions and service programs specifically designed for single-phase UPS systems, which can be renewed to cover the entire lifecycle of the product.
