Comms365 Comms365, the Network Services Company and leader in bonded internet, cellular networking and resiliency solutions, has taken the next step in its growth plan by appointing the highly experienced John Whitty as Chairman of the Board.
Mr Whitty’s ICT experience tracks back to the 1980’s, when
he was a member of Te Royal Corps of Signals for nearly two decades, before moving into the Private sector as CTO of Pipex Communications. He has since held leadership roles at Kabel-X, GCI Com and
Solar Communications (as CEO, MD and CEO, respectively). More recently, he was the CEO of Air IT before being invited to become Chairman of Gradwell Communications in July 2022. As chairman of Comms365, John will spread his wealth of
knowledge and experience even further across the Channel, leveraging decades of well-built relationships to enable Comms365 to collaborate even deeper with Channel organisations of all sizes.
ServiceNow ServiceNow has announced that industry technology leader Dr Raj Iyer has joined the company in the newly created role of global head of public sector. Dr Iyer, who was previously the US Army’s first-ever civilian chief information officer, brings more than 30
years of experience leading technology and business transformation in both the private and government sectors. In his role with the army, he managed a $16 billion annual IT budget and led the global digital transformation of the largest military branch in the US. At ServiceNow, Dr Iyer will expand the company’s global public sector strategy to accelerate the pace of digital transformation for the industry. He will lead the growth of markets across the global public sector, with a particular focus on Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the UK and the US by scaling ServiceNow’s strategy and capabilities to meet the unique needs of regulated markets worldwide.
Veeam Veeam Soſtware has appointed Dustin Driggs as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO). Mr Driggs will lead Veeam’s global financial function including strategy and reporting as Veeam continues to gain market share and provide best-in-class secure backup and fast, reliable recovery that keeps businesses running. Mr Driggs is a finance leader with more than 30 years’ experience
in successfully building and managing large multinational businesses. He joins Veeam from Barracuda Networks where he worked for over 16 years, most recently as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President leading the finance and accounting function. Mr Driggs succeeds Chuck Garner who is leaving Veeam
aſter successfully leading the company’s finance, strategy, and operations functions and having completed its $5 billion sale to Insight Partners in 2020.

Scality
Scality has appointed an experienced former HPE executive, Peter Brennan, as chief revenue officer (CRO). Scality’s addition of the CRO role reflects its mission to capture increasing market share in the thriving file and object storage space. Expanding
growth activities worldwide, Mr Brennan will lead sales and marketing efforts to maximise revenue with an emphasis on partners and the channel. With over 20 years of data storage leadership, Mr Brennan will lean
on his experience bringing hybrid-cloud, hyper-converged, and data storage businesses into a new era to broaden Scality’s reach. During the last three years at HPE, Mr Brennan successfully
transitioned a multi-billion dollar business from a pure-play infrastructure sale into an as-a-service model. Prior to this, Mr Brennan led a worldwide specialist sales organisation for VMware, focused on hyper-converged and hybrid-cloud solutions. He has also held channel and sales leadership positions at HPE, LeſtHand Networks, Opsware, CommVault, and EMC.
Check Point Check Point Soſtware Technologies has hired Nataly Kremer as chief product officer and head of research and development, appointed Dr. Dorit Dor as chief technology officer, and promoted Rupal Hollenbeck to president of Check Point. As the new chief product officer and head of R&D, Ms Kremer
will oversee all product and technology units and use her proficiency in delivering network, security, and cloud technologies for large enterprises to meet customer needs. Dr Dor, one of the most senior women in the cyber security
industry, has been instrumental in building Check Point into a leading player for over 27 years. As CTO, Dr Dor will continue to spearhead Check Point’s rocket initiatives. Rupal Hollenbeck, a technology leader with 28 years of experience
in some of the world’s largest companies, has been promoted to president of Check Point. She will continue to oversee the go-to- market operations, with a focus on delivering the best security experience to organisations worldwide.
Zerto Matt Boris has been promoted to head of worldwide Go-to-Market at Zerto. Mr Boris, who previously led Zerto sales in the Americas and Asia, will now be responsible for driving the company’s overall GTM strategy around the globe. As part of his broader role, Mr Boris will also focus on unifying the
company’s GTM strategy with MSPs and channel partners. One of the key drivers of growth will be HPE GreenLake, its edge-to-cloud platform, where Zerto will play a critical role. Te company is also expanding its reach into GSI through strategic alliances with Deloitte, HCL Tech, TCS, and Wipro. In addition, Zerto has appointed Ben Jenkins as sales director of Americas East and Sasha Acosta as sales director of Americas West.
