What’s so essential about Cyber Essentials?

ecurity is a huge issue for businesses. According to the World Economic Forum at Davos, 93% of cyber leaders


and 86% of business leaders think a systemic cyber security event is likely within the next two years. This might sound like we should feel


hopeless in the face of relentless waves of ransomware, information stealers and botnets.


However, this is not true. Everyone can improve their security. The UK Government’s Cyber Essentials programme provides information on best practices that you and your customers can adopt. It’s been updated this year to take into account all the new challenges and attacks that have developed since the last release, and comes into force from April 2023.
