Apidura to introduce ‘impact receipts’ for every purchase

The brand is marking a new step in its commitment to promoting eco-conscious consumption by issuing impact receipts with every purchase.
Apidura’s roots Co-founder Tori Fahey describes the creation of her own bikepacking brand as scratching an itch after making her own kit for the 2011 Tour Divide event. ‘We started it out of an interest in cycling and a need for kit that wasn’t available at the time,’ she says. ‘I spent a couple of years trying to figure out how to make a better tool for the job.’ That process culminated in the creation of Apidura in 2013. The brand soon reached a global market as a direct-to- consumer business that also works closely with retailers.

When Apidura launched, most riders had to use a touring
bike with multiple mounting points if they wanted to go travelling by bike.
