Tom Ainscough François Joly, Mavic


Mavic has strengthened its ability to meet the needs of customers with the appointment of François Joly as OEM BU manager Following the announcement, Joly said: “I’ve been a cyclist since I was a kid, and even back then I rode both for sport and for mobility. My passion for two wheels has never left me since. A former road racer, I continue to ride both on road and gravel, as well as running regularly.


“Secondly, over twenty years of trading in many different places and situations has given me a wealth of experience of multicultural contacts and business discussions at different levels. “Finally, with eight years spent as sales


manager for an OEM supplier of bicycle wheel components to bicycle brands and factories, combining my passion for bicycles and my professional background with this fine historic brand that is Mavic really makes sense; more so as the company has a real card to play in OEM, which will enable us together to make Mavic grow. In short, I’m delighted to be with Mavic so... let’s rock it.” 


Tom Ainscough and James Browning, ZyroFisher


ZyroFisher has announced a leadership transition as Rob Haycock, the company’s CEO, steps down from his role. Tom Ainscough will assume the position of CEO while James Browning will transition from non-executive chairman to executive chairman. Ainscough, who has served as COO at


ZyroFisher for five years, has a wealth of experience of operations and supply chain, alongside a deep understanding of both the business and industry which will allow a smooth transition into the CEO role. Following the announcement, Ainscough said: “I’m pleased to accept the role of CEO at ZyroFisher. “My focus is on building upon the strong foundation that Rob has established and working closely with our talented team to drive growth and market share for our brands.” Browning, who has been the non-


executive chairman since the inception of ZyroFisher and previously guided Fisher Outdoor Leisure through its turnaround in 2013, will now take on the role of executive chairman. His expanded responsibilities will

include a more active involvement in the commercial operations of the company, as well as continued guidance in shaping the strategic direction of ZyroFisher. Browning said: “Firstly I would like to

Derek Bouchard-Hall, POC


Derek Bouchard-Hall has been appointed as CEO at POC. Officially trained as a structural engineer, Bouchard-Hall followed his passion after university and embarked on a career in professional road and track cycling. Since then, he has spent most of his career working throughout Europe and is an experienced CEO in sports, outdoor, and consumer goods industries. Prior to joining POC, he held roles as the CEO of Assos, president and CEO of USA Cycling, and director of international at Wiggle. 
