Additionally, EBCO has refocused on size split and wheel
sizes to accommodate more people with fewer compromises. “Riding an EBCO e-bike is an exhilarating journey, attained
to powerful motors and long-lasting batteries that bring joy and ease to riders through any terrain,” said Charteris. “What sets EBCO e-bikes apart is its unwavering dedication
to affordability without compromising on quality. “By leveraging our expertise and economies of scale through TVS Motors, we have successfully bridged the gap between premium features and an affordable price point. By prioritising this ethos, we can open doors for countless individuals to embrace the exhilaration and convenience of electric biking.” EBCO is aiming to empower a new generation of riders, providing them with an opportunity to experience a premium electric bicycle without breaking the bank whilst also retaining core consumer values towards wider demographics. “Our commitment to accessibility will reshape the industry landscape, making eco-friendly transportation accessible to all and for all,” said Charteris. “With EBCO e-bikes, the future is economical, affordable, and within reach for everyone.”
SUPPORTING IBDs As a British brand and a team of riders themselves, EBCO understands the importance of the local bike shop to both the end-user and as a key cog in the cycling ecosystem. To support IBDs and recognise their importance in the growth of the industry, EBCO has launched a Click and Collect service which sees them partner with retailers around the country. “Our Click and Collect service is more than just convenience,” explained Needs. “It’s a partnership with our IBD network.
“It seamlessly bridges the gap between online shopping and the personalised in-store experience that our IBD partners offer. “Our customers can enjoy the ease of digital browsing, secure in the knowledge that their e-bike will be waiting
for them at a trusted local shop. It’s the perfect fusion of convenience and community support.”
The Click and Collect service is one of the many elements
that have been added to a clean, clear and user-friendly new website.
It works in four simple steps. Once a customer has decided on the model they wish to purchase, they select a store to collect their brand-new EBCO e-bike from, whether it’s close to home or conveniently located.
They then confirm and continue the checkout process, complete payment and receive a notification when their e-bike is ready to collect. The customer then visits the approved retailer, collects their e-bike, assembled, safety checked and ready to ride. “For IBDs who don’t yet have an online presence, our service provides a vital omnichannel lifeline,” said Needs. “It enables them to enter the digital world, expanding their reach and relevance in today’s market. “For those already online, EBCO’s partnership augments their exposure and opens new channels of opportunity.” From a retailers point-of-view, there is no handling of
payment or credit card fees to worry about and no stock holding or floor space taken up.
EBCO will also provide the IBD with a margin on the sale, as well as offering technical support for any routine maintenance and servicing on their products when the end- user returns for repairs. “We’re here to support and elevate our partners, not divert business from them,” said Needs. “If you’re a business owner interested in becoming a part of our ever-expanding network of EBCO partners, simply reach out to us.”
