ACT endorses Gogeta as preferred cycle to work scheme
THE Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) has partnered with Gogeta to endorse the company’s cycle to work scheme. Gogeta was officially launched in June, claiming to offer the “lowest commission in the industry.” Previously known as Velomatch, Gogeta was founded with the aim of improving the salary sacrifice scheme for all parties. The scheme also features an integrated marketplace, offering stock feeds from partner bike shops with cycle to work savings. Employees can browse the Gogeta marketplace, find the bike of
their choice in stock with relevant offers from partner bike shops, with their actual Cycle to Work costs and savings included. The employee can then apply for their voucher and the bike shop is notified they have a customer.
Jonathan Harrison of the ACT said: “After years of working within the constraints of a scheme that has been funded by the IBD, with commission charges of up to 15%, the structure has limited the true potential of the tax incentive to cycle to work (introduced by the Government back in 1999). Now is the time to change that.”

Alans BMX appointed as UK importer for Heresy BMX
ALANS BMX has been appointed as the UK importer for Heresy BMX products.
With stock in the UK, the times of retailers not knowing delivery timescales, duty, and handling fees is hopefully over. Frame options not in stock should also be supplied in a few days without extra fees and a price close to the Euro. Alan Woods, founder of Alans BMX, said: “Hopefully with
the product here on hand, that the customer can get the next day, will help UK flatland grow.
“I also think that flatland can be an entry point into BMX for
new riders as it is so accessible, we want to work with anyone who is looking at initiatives to grow flatland in the UK. Super excited about this.”
