hile much of the industry has been struggling over the past few years, 2025 has been a beacon of hope for some brands. Stock problems sorted, supply chains managed, and portfolios


refined for consumers who are becoming increasingly picky about what they want from a bike – especially an e-bike. And while there are brands fighting to produce the most


powerful mid-drive motor out there, others are just launching their first mid-drive motor and focusing more on producing lightweight options.

year so far. BikeBiz caught up with them to discuss their latest innovations and how their new training programme will benefit dealers in the UK. Although Mahle has been producing e-bike systems for over a decade, 2025 saw the launch of the brand’s first mid-drive option.
