Rebecca Bland catches up with Ben Jaconelli, Founder and Company Director of Fully Charged, to talk about how strategic changes and innovative marketing tactics has propelled their e-bike retail business to over 10% growth amidst industry turbulence thanks to their focus on customer experience and strong brand partnerships.

hen you think of electric bike retailers in the UK, I’d bet that Fully Charged comes straight to mind. Dotted all over the south, the e-bike retailer has been a prevalent force in the growth of the e-cargo bike


market, among others. And the team does this by utilising unique marketing strategies for retailers, as well as utilising their extensive knowledge to provide something of a “car showroom” experience over the typical bike shop one.

As we look back on the awards, we thought it was time to catch up with Founder and Company Director, Ben Jaconelli, to find out what the retailer has been up to in the last year, and whether he thinks 2026 will be the year the industry corrects itself. Everyone knows the saying, ‘survive till 2025’, but as 2025 comes and goes, is it about time to start feeling positive? Jaconelli thinks so, particularly within the e-bike industry.
