MAGIC: THE GATHERING - THE STREETS OF NEW
CAPENNA PRESS EVENT April 13th
Ross Kemp, known for his hard man role in Eastenders and chasing down gangs in Ross Kemp on Gangs, was filmed exploring the crime-ridden Streets of New Capenna, the latest expansion expansion for Magic: The Gathering and M:TG Arena. He didn’t seem to have time to sample the game, but given that he had five crime families to infiltrate in what clearly was his toughest challenge yet, it was probably just as well.
GAMEOPOLIS May 4th
Greater Manchester’s games industry network had a bit of a relaunch event last month, with presentations on the future of Gameopolis and the development scene in Manchester, as well as a fireside chat with Bithell Games. The Bithell team was in fine form talking about building a studio and making a game without any code or art!
Future Gameopolis events are planned every two months, with the odd social thrown in for good measure. Interested parties can sign up to the mailing list at
