I was lucky enough to play The Witcher 3 in Warsaw before it was released, but despite getting past Skellige and enjoying the game immenesly, in all my attempts to complete the game since, I’ve quickly lost interest. Meeting the Bloody Baron for about the 20th time, this month I’m determined to go further. So far, so good.

As you might have heard, this is my last month at MCV/ DEVELOP, as I’m leaving to go freelance. Having joined the games industry in the pre-COVID times, I’ve had a rollercoaster journey over the past couple of years, and I’m hugely grateful to have had the opportunity to write for this magazine for so long. I’ll see you all again soon.

When I’ve not been overwhelmed with grief that Chris is departing MCV/ DEVELOP, I’ve found the time (between fits of sobbing) to play FIFA, Forza Horizon 5 and Call of Duty Vanguard. On an unrelated note, Chris wrote this section too but I’m sure nobody will be able to tell.
