The prestigious TRIC Awards took place on Tuesday 25 June where the winners were announced at a star-studded ceremony in London. The glamorous Awards event – in partnership with Euronics – once again celebrated the nation’s favourite TV and radio programmes and personalities, all voted for by the public. The afternoon lunch – where ERT was a trade media partner – was hosted by TRIC President Roman Kemp and there was also a very special live performance from Pixie Lott. world filled The Great Room at Grosvenor House on Park Lane to find out who would walk away with a prestigious TRIC gong. Bradley Walsh

named best TV Personality – for the second year in a

row, while Ken Bruce, who presents the mid-morning show on Greatest Hits Radio, picked up the Radio Personality award. Not stopping there, Mr Bruce scored a hat-trick – also winning OK! Daytime show and Best Radio Show!
Meanwhile, Strictly Come Dancing won the Entertainment category, GB News Breakfast won the News category, Mr Bates vs The Post Office won Drama, and the documentary programme of the same story, Mr Bates vs The Post Office – The Real Story, won in Factual.
The Live Event category was hotly contested this
year but The Coronation of HM The King and Queen Camila took home the crown! Elsewhere, That Peter Crouch Podcast picked up
