Scolmore and ESP celebrate shortlist successes

s part of its expansion in the UK, Megaman, the energy efficient


lighting manufacturer, has recruited a new National Sales Manager along with three new area-based Business Development Managers to its experienced sales team. Together the team will look to secure and build new relationships within the electrical wholesale sector. Lee Bradshaw is the new National Sales

he Scolmore Group is confident of success at this year’s Electrical Industry Awards, with Scolmore and ESP having been selected as


finalists across seven categories. In the product categories, Scolmore has been shortlisted for the Residential/Domestic Product of the Year with its Inceptor Omni Tricolour Fire- rated Downlight and for the Commercial Product of the Year with the Inceptor EVO LED Bulkhead. The work the company has been doing with local councils is also paying dividends with Edinburgh Council on the shortlist for the Electrical Project of the Year and Stirling Council for the Lighting Project of the Year. The popular Scolmore App is also on the awards shortlist for the Electrical App of the Year. ESP has been successful with both entries submitted. The Duceri 3W hinged LED Bulkhead has been selected for the Commercial Product of the Year and the GuardCam Deco Wi-Fi Security Floodlight for the Residential Product Category. Lee has over eight years’ lighting sales experience, having owned his own lighting business before joining Poole Lighting. As part of Lee’s team, Karen Jenkins has been appointed as the new Megaman Business Development Manager for the South West. Karen began her career in sales with five years at Rewires Devon Limited (RDL). From there Karen branched into the world of accountancy but missed the customer interaction of a sales role. Paul Rossiter has also been appointed as a Business Development Manager to cover South Wales and the M4 Corridor. Paul started his career in sales with CCF Bristol, part of Travis Perkins, before becoming a Key Account Manager in 2012. Paul then moved into the lighting industry as an Area Sales Manager with Saxby Lighting before taking on similar roles at ML Accessories and Selectric. Finally, Stuart Davies has taken on the role of Business Development Manager for Midlands Central. Stuart brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in the electrical wholesale industry across a number of merchant brands and from a variety of roles.
