Welcome to a very special August edition of Footwear & Fashion Today! It’s special because we are now only days away from the all-new Footwear & Fashion Live show in Coventry and this issue features many of the brands that are going to be there! As our exhibition continues to grow and evolve, bringing together footwear, fashion and accessories under one roof,
we’re looking forward to welcoming retailers and brands to Stoneleigh Park for what promises to be an exciting new chapter for the show. The event has been designed to make buying easier, encourage meaningful conversations and create valuable new business opportunities, while retaining that friendly, accessible atmosphere that has always been at its core. The show is reflective of one of the greatest strengths of our industry – its ability to evolve while never losing sight of what matters most – great products, strong relationships and independent retail.
This edition reflects exactly that. We’ve had the pleasure of speaking with some of the brands helping to shape the season ahead, from the colour and creativity of Laura Vita, to the distinctive character of Joe Browns, and the fresh and clever thinking behind Original Creator. We get to hear about their latest collections and what they’ll be showing at Footwear & Fashion Live, and we find out more about how their passion and innovation for great quality products continues to drive our sector forward. We also shine a spotlight on independent retailers Renaissance Boutique in Tunbridge Wells and It’s Feet First in Shrewsbury who both demonstrate that success isn’t simply about stocking the right products – it’s about creating memorable customer experiences, building trust and adapting to an ever-changing retail landscape. Whether you’re discovering new brands, catching up with industry developments, or looking for inspiration for the seasons ahead, I hope this issue provides plenty of ideas and insight!
