INTERVIEW In conversation with… ORIGINAL CREATOR

“We have been manufacturing for over 25 years so we are well versed to tough trading conditions,” says Caroline Sheppard, Business Development Manager for Original Creator. “Our clients love our ranges which offer them real value and a good return on their investment.” Here, Caroline chats to Footwear & Fashion Today about what makes the athleisure brand different from others in the industry.

S

elf-dubbed as an ‘easy-going, positive brand on a mission to make you feel good’, the athleisure brand Original

Creator was born in Manchester and has over 25 years’ experience in textiles and manufacturing. The Founders wanted to create a clothing

brand that its customers can count on, and to do that their items needed to be three things: functional, practical and appealing (with plenty of pockets)! Original Creator chooses to only work with people and places that are aligned with its values and support its mission to minimise the brand’s impact on the environment, whilst creating items that are of the highest quality. The brand’s deep origins from the industrial

mills of Manchester have enabled it to create quality, timeless and practical pieces designed to be worn time and time again.

Q&A

Q: Tell us more about Original Creator and how the brand came to be? Caroline Sheppard: Our philosophy is easy: Simplify. Motivate. Inspire. Original Creator is founded on the belief that we’re all masters of our own destiny. We know that the first step to achieving your goals is looking the part and feeling confident at the same time. From fabric producers to spinners and garment specialists, the brand is built on a community of highly skilled individuals and our pieces are created with the finest attention to detail. Our items are considerately created from high-

quality materials and trims, sealed with a water repellent coating and wrapped in eco packaging. Whether you’re running on a treadmill, to the shops or to a meeting, our clothing is ready for whatever your day brings. There’s so much more to purchasing an Original Creator item than you think. By doing so you’re supporting a large ecosystem of ethical
