Q&A
Q: How has 2026 been for you so far? Jacques Cheng: 2026 has been a positive year so far for Laura Vita. Despite ongoing economic pressures across many European markets, consumers continue to seek products that offer both individuality and value. Our distinctive design DNA and strong comfort credentials have helped us maintain momentum with existing retail partners while opening opportunities with new accounts looking to differentiate their footwear offering.
Q: Tell us about some of your biggest recent product ranges. JC: Our latest Spring/Summer and Autumn/ Winter collections have continued to build on the colourful, artistic identity that defines Laura Vita. Floral detailing, premium materials, handcrafted finishes, and comfort-focused constructions remain at the heart of the range. We have seen particularly strong interest in our fashion sandals, lightweight sneakers, and
versatile ankle boots, which combine everyday wearability with the unique aesthetic our customers love. We are expanding our comfort-fashion
offering while introducing new colours and materials that appeal to a broader audience. We are also investing in strengthening our digital presence and supporting retail partners with enhanced marketing assets, visual merchandising tools, and social media content to help drive consumer engagement.
Q: How are you finding the footwear sector in general at the moment, in this increasingly tough climate? JC: The sector remains challenging, with consumers becoming more selective about their purchases. However, we believe brands with a clear identity and genuine product differentiation are well positioned. Laura Vita has always celebrated individuality through colour and creativity, and we continue to evolve our collections while staying true to those values.
