PREVIEW EXHIBITOR Live wireless accelerometer demonstration

DJB’s full range of accelerometers, signal conditioners and calibrators will be at the show

Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme to develop ground breaking wireless piezoelectric accelerometer technology. This is the first of two strategic projects that form part of the Company’s new ‘global technology platform’, with the second due for kick off in September 2017.

D

JB Instruments is one of the world’s longest standing accelerometer

manufacturers and has led numerous product innovations over its 43 year history, including the original discovery of the company’s unique Konic Shear accelerometer design. Over the last two years it has been

working closely with Loughborough University through the UK Government’s

DJB will be

demonstrating its latest wireless technology

WHAT CAN VISITORS EXPECT TO SEE ON THE DAY? The culmination of this wireless accelerometer project will be at Sensors & Instrumentation 2017 with a live demonstration of the wireless piezoelectric technology at Stand E8. A number of different applications will be on show utilising different vibration sources but all using the new DJB wireless technology. In addition to the wireless

accelerometers, DJB will also be showcasing the full range of its accelerometers, cables, signal conditioners, impact hammers, calibrators and all of its most recent products launches including the new impedance head range.

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR AT THIS YEAR’S SHOW Be one of the first to see the latest research and development into the DJB wireless technology being unveiled to

the public for the very first time. Join up to receive the company’s newsletter for the latest news. Ask about the trade in discount scheme offering up to 25 per cent discount on new products. Trade-in’s from all accelerometer manufacturers are considered. For university customers DJB offers an educational discount up to 50 per cent. The show is also a great opportunity

to learn more about the cable repair service which is on offer for cables originally supplied by any accelerometer manufacturer. This can save money whilst also adding to a company’s recycling green credentials.

BESPOKE REQUIREMENTS? Do you have specific requirements for cable assemblies, junction boxes/patch panels, accelerometers? Tell DJB about your current situation and the company are happy to advise how it can make a difference and find the right solutions for you.
