New Ground-Isolated High Temperature Mini Triaxial ICP® Accelerometer
T
he new Model HTJ356B01 accelerometer from PCB® is suited for applications that demand ground isolation to
reduce electrical noise and ground loops in higher temperature environments. This innovative design achieves ground isolation by
attaching the accelerometer to a three-sided titanium cup that contains an insulating glass filled epoxy. It has ICP® operation up to from -54 to 180°C. The sensing elements provide a 5mV/g output over a 2
to 8K Hz frequency range and are hermetically sealed in a rugged titanium housing. With an overall cube size of just 7.1 mm and weight of 1 gram, it is ideal for testing in space restricted test locations. Typical applications include ESS and NVH testing in high temperature environments.

1664 FC Installation Tester puts more power in users’ hands by quickly and efficiently testing fixed installations to BS7671 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, protecting appliances that may be inadvertently connected to the system under test, and making it easy to share test results over a smartphone using Fluke Connect®. The Fluke DMS Data Management Software uses the captured results for data recording, offers easy-to-use administration and reporting and provides printing of test reports. The Fluke 1664 FC/DMS UK offer, and other special offers, can be seen at
www.fluke.co.uk/promotions. The Fluke 1664 FC features the patent pending Insulation PreTest™ function that detects if an appliance is connected to the system under test and will stop the test while also providing a visual warning. Insulation PreTest helps avoid accidental and costly damage to peripheral equipment.

HBM REVEAL HOW TO GET FROM STRAIN TO LIFETIME IN FREE WEBINAR.
H
BM is pleased to announce its latest free webinar, ‘From Strain to Lifetime’, which will take place on September 26th 2017 at 9am (GMT). When it comes to obtaining strain measurements using strain gauges
to access the life of materials or components, this is usually only the first step. In this seminar, participants will learn how to measure strain and calculate the stress, how to sum-up loads with a rainbow matrix and how to estimate lifetime using a S-N curve. ‘From Strain to Lifetime’ takes a maximum of one hour and can be
easily accessed at a later date or simply used as a refresher course. As an added benefit, all registered participants will receive a link to the webinar,
via email, after the presentation. All HBM webinars are free of charge. However, spaces are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. Please reserve your space by booking at
