Razzamataz Medway, took home the title of Lifestyle Franchisee of the Year. The award showcases franchisees who entered franchising to secure a better work-life balance and, through an enterprising nature and their franchisor’s


support, have achieved excellent results. Hayley is a perfect example of this with her theatre school, which now boasts more than 530 students. Hayley opened her school in September 2010 when she decided to swap a busy corporate life for her dream of running a theatre school. In 2014, Hayley’s young son had a very serious illness, which led her to reconsider the structure of her schools. Support from her team and advice from head offi ce allowed Hayley to take the time she needed for her son’s hospital visits. Hayley says: “I strongly believe that if I had continued in my corporate career, there would have been no way that I could have continued to work after Finlay’s diagnosis. The wonderful thing about being in a Razzamataz franchise is that we can build our own teams and create the fl exibility that works for every individual.” All the attendees were given the chance to vote for the People’s Choice Franchisee


of the Year and Hayley’s inspirational story led to her winning the award.
